John Broekman was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, where the culture and environment played a significant role in forming his character. He grew up with a calm outlook, a sense of curiosity, and a desire to be part of positive change. He attended Bishop Kenny High School, where he began developing his commitment to education and involvement in community life. After graduation, he moved to Fort Myers to attend Florida Gulf Coast University, where he studied Business Management. While there, he joined a fraternity, which introduced him to the importance of leadership and teamwork.

After his first year, John decided to return to Jacksonville and enrolled at the University of North Florida. His involvement in the fraternity continued to grow and become more meaningful. He stepped into a larger leadership role as the third highest-ranking member. His efforts focused heavily on philanthropy, especially on fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association through events held on campus and at local sporting events. He also regularly participated in blood drives organized by Oneblood’s “Big Red Bus,” donating each semester to support those in need.
John graduated from the University of North Florida in 2020 with honors, earning a 3.8 GPA. He completed a major in Political Science and a minor in Business Management. His membership in the university's Economics Society enhanced his knowledge of economic and political systems, broadening his understanding of how these forces influence society and everyday life.
A Wide-Ranging Career
John's work experience spans several distinct fields: politics, finance, and logistics. Though different, each area allowed him to sharpen his ability to communicate, solve problems, and adapt to new challenges. In politics, he was involved in campaigns at various levels, including local, state, and national. One significant moment was organizing a campaign rally for President Trump in Jacksonville, where he had the opportunity to meet the president personally.
In logistics, John worked at Magellan Logistics, where he was responsible for managing a struggling client account valued at just over $50,000. Through consistent effort and relationship building, he grew the account to over $500,000. This role demonstrated his ability to build trust, deliver results, and turn underperformance into success. He also worked at TEKsystems, where he was promoted to a senior role only three months after being hired, highlighting his ability to adapt quickly and perform at a high level.

Since 2012, he has attended over 100 EDM festivals across the United States, including events at venues such as Red Rocks in Colorado and Ultra in Miami.
